What to include on your invoice
- The vehicle: make, model, registration or VIN, and mileage
- Each part, with its part number and price
- Labour time and your hourly rate
- Any warranty on parts and labour
- Work you recommended but the customer declined, so there's a record
Tips
- Write down work the customer declined on the invoice. It protects you if the problem comes back.
- Use the same labour rate on every invoice and display it in the workshop.
- Ask permission before going over the agreed price, and note the approval on the invoice.
- Put your opening hours and phone number on it, so customers know how to book the next service.

Where do I put the vehicle details?
The first example line holds them. Leave its quantity and price empty and it prints as a note without an amount. You can also put them in the customer details box.
Should I list part numbers?
Yes. It shows exactly what was fitted, helps with warranty claims and makes your invoice easy to trust.
Can I add a Google review QR code?
Yes. Paste your Google review link and the footer shows a small "Happy with our work?" code. Asking every customer, with nothing offered in return, is allowed by Google.
