Questions about the calculator
Why do you need my full star breakdown?
A rating of 4.4 could be anything from 4.35 to 4.449. The breakdown gives your exact average, so the number of reviews you need is exact too, not a guess.
How does Google round my rating?
Google shows the average of all your ratings to one decimal place. An average of 4.45 or more shows as 4.5.
Why does 5.0 take so many reviews?
Google only shows 5.0 once your average reaches 4.95. Every review below 5 stars pulls the average down, so with a few lower ratings it takes a very large number of 5-star reviews to get there. 4.8 or 4.9 is a more realistic goal.
How long until Google shows my new rating?
New reviews can take up to two weeks to be reflected in the rating Google shows.
How is this different from the review gap calculator?
This calculator plans your own next rating from your exact star mix. The review gap calculator compares you with the business ranked above you.
