How much does hipages cost for tradies? Plans, credits and contracts in 2026
hipages charges tradies a monthly subscription that comes with credits, which you spend to accept job leads. Its core plans, as tracked since July 2026, run from $139 to $649 a month plus GST, with each job showing its credit price in the app. Subscriptions start with a six-month term and then renew, so check the terms before you join.
hipages plans and prices
We couldn't load hipages' own pricing pages for this guide, so these figures come from PricingSaaS, which tracks published SaaS prices, and were in place from July 2026. Check them against the quote hipages gives you.
| Plan | Price a month (AUD, plus GST) | Credits a month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $139 | 155 |
| Advanced | $249 | 310 |
| Premium | $449 | 595 |
| Platinum | $649 | 850 (latest reported) |
PricingSaaS also lists an Essentials plan at $29 and a Pro plan for businesses with 10 or more staff at $2,049 a month, plus a review-management add-on at $49 plus GST a month. hipages says there's no commission on jobs you win.
How credits and leads work
- Each plan gives you a monthly allowance of credits. Each job shows its price in credits, which changes with demand.
- hipages doesn't publish a dollar price per lead. Third-party sites estimate around $25 to $80 a lead, but that depends on your trade and area.
- Each lead goes to a limited number of tradies: NRMA's partner page says every lead is capped at three businesses.
- Unused credits expire, reportedly after one or two months depending on your plan.
The term and automatic renewal
In 2023 the ACCC, Australia's consumer regulator, said hipages had admitted it likely engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct by not clearly telling subscribers that contracts renewed automatically for 12 months and what early exit would cost. hipages gave a court-enforceable undertaking to disclose renewal and cancellation terms clearly, fix complaints and run a compliance program.
Partner and third-party pages describe the terms in 2026 as an initial six-month term, then automatic renewal for 12 months, with a short cooling-off window only if you haven't accepted a lead. Leaving early can mean paying out the rest of the term. Read the renewal and cancellation terms in your agreement, and diary the renewal date.
Reviews on hipages
Your hipages profile shows reviews from customers, which help you win more hipages jobs. For customers who find you anywhere else, ask for a Google review: those show when people search on Google.
Is hipages worth it?
- Ask hipages how many jobs in your trade and area are posted each month, and what credit prices they usually carry.
- Work out your cost per job won: monthly fee ÷ jobs you win from hipages that month.
- Compare it with your cost per job from Google, referrals and other lead sites.
- Note the renewal date before the first six months end, so you can decide whether to stay.
Paid leads stop when you stop paying, but reviews on your own Google profile can keep working. Build those alongside any lead platform: our Google reviews guide shows how.
