Google Business Profile management usually costs about $125 to $500 a month per location in the US, with one-off setup from about $300 to $500. Software you run yourself costs less, from about $49 a month, and agency packages that bundle profile management into local SEO cost more. No published study prices profile management on its own, so these are vendor list prices and estimates.

UK and Australian prices

  • UK: profile management is usually bundled into local SEO packages. ProfileTree's tiers run from £400–£600 a month (2–4 posts, citations, review monitoring) to £700–£1,200 (more posts, review replies and campaigns). See our UK local SEO cost guide.
  • Australia: one agency that publishes its rates charges from $750 + GST a month to manage a single location, or $2,995 + GST for a one-time optimisation. See our Australian local SEO cost guide.

What monthly management should include

  • Posts every week or two, with photos from your real work.
  • Replies to every review, positive and negative, in your voice.
  • Accurate hours, including holiday hours, and correct categories and services.
  • Questions and answers kept up to date.
  • Watching for unwanted edits and spam competitors, and reporting them.
  • A monthly report with calls, direction requests and website clicks from your profile.
Tip: Keep the profile in your name and add the provider as a manager, never as the only owner.

Questions

Something else? Ask us directly.

Is Google Business Profile management worth paying for?

It's worth it if it brings more calls and visits than it costs. Check your profile's performance report each month, and work out how many extra customers would cover the fee.

Can I manage my Google Business Profile myself?

Yes. Most of the work is posting regularly, replying to reviews and keeping details right. Software can remind you and draft replies if you'd rather not pay someone.

Why do prices vary so much?

Because "management" means different things. Some providers only post updates; others reply to every review, fight spam, add photos and report on calls. Ask for a written list of monthly tasks.
