How to change your business address, hours or phone number on Google

Edit your profile

On a computer:

1. Sign in to the Google Account that manages your profile and go to business.google.com.
2. Select "Edit profile".
3. Make your changes and select Save.

In the Google Maps app:

1. Open Google Maps and tap "Business" at the bottom right.
2. Tap "Edit profile".
3. Make your changes and tap Save.

Change your opening hours

1. Select "Edit profile", then "Hours".
2. Next to Hours, select Edit, then "Open with main hours".
3. Tick each day you're open and set the opening and closing times.
4. Select Save.

• Closed for lunch? Add two sets of hours for the same day with "Add hours".
• Open 24 hours? Choose "24 hours" for each day it applies.
• Holidays or one-off changes: use special hours, so your normal hours stay as they are.
• Different hours for some services, such as delivery or senior hours: use "more hours".

Change your address

1. Select "Edit profile", then "Location".
2. Next to "Business location", select Edit.
3. Enter the new address. If Google can't find it, select "Adjust" and place the pin on the map yourself.
4. Select Save.

• Enter the full address, including unit, suite or floor. Avoid descriptions like "opposite the station".
• If customers don't visit you, turn off "Show business address to customers" and set your service area instead. Google says only service-area businesses should hide their address.
• If you've moved since you verified, Google says you'll need to verify again. Update your website, directories and signs at the same time.

Change your phone number, website or name

• Phone: you can add up to 2 extra numbers, mobile or landline, but not fax.
• Website: enter the full address, starting with https://.
• Name: use the name on your real sign and branding. If you change it after verifying, you may have to verify again.

How long changes take

Google can also update your profile itself when it gets reports that your details are wrong. You'll get a notification and an alert in "Edit profile", so check it if something changes without you doing it.
